My Life Book

Hello, my name is Sherri Goss and I am a Certified Financial PlannerTM professional.

In my financial planning practice, I see people every day who have had the difficult task of dealing not only with the emotion of losing a spouse or parent, but with the financial and legal aspects of settling their affairs. Due to a lack of planning, survivors are faced with making a number of decisions on their own: arranging the funeral, sorting through household finances, locating important documents and tracking down insurance policies, filing claims, getting into safe deposit boxes, and on and on.

In addition to the trauma of losing a loved one, they often have to put their own life on hold while they try to make the right decisions. And then the biggie: dealing with family relationships and power struggles.

The sad part is, this could have been prevented with a little planning.

Life BookI want your family to avoid these problems, which is why I have created the My Life BookTM. Here's what can happen if you don't work through these issues:

  1. Your wishes won't be carried out because nobody will know what YOU want.
  2. Benefits will be lost because nobody will know what YOU'RE eligible to receive.
  3. Your family will fight over who does what and WHO GETS what.
  4. Everything YOU wanted to have happen, will not happen.

The solution: Begin the process of creating a My Life BookTM. The purpose of creating a Life BookTM is to help you organize your personal information, desires and wishes in a way that this information can by used by your loved ones. Each section contains case stories, explanations and/or examples of why that particular area is important. Thank you for taking the time to do this for your family. They will appreciate it.
